The process includes physical examination, medical examination of candidates who have passed 12th in traditional manner. The Mumbai Fire Brigade has a manpower of around 3000 firemen, officers and drivers. 2500 of them are fire fighters. However, due to promotion or retirement, the posts have largely become vacant.
The fire brigade chief Sanjay Manjrekar informed that this recruitment will be done for these posts.
The recruitment process will be held at Bhavdevi Maidan in Dahisar West and its filming will also be done.

As the age limit has been increased by two years in police recruitment due to layoffs, relaxation will also be given in this recruitment and it has been given administrative approval recently, the officials said. So now the age limit for open group will be 27 years instead of 25 and the same limit for reservation will be 32 years instead of 30. Officials said that it will also be considered whether a waiting list can be made for the continuously vacant post.

Fire Department Recruitment 2022 : मुंबई अग्निशमन दलाची भरती लवकरच होणार आहे. अग्निशामक पदासाठी तब्बल 910 रिक्त पदांची भरती केली जाणार असून त्यासाठीची जाहिरात लवकरच प्रसिद्ध केली जाईल.

गेल्या काही वर्षांपासून रखडलेली मुंबई अग्निशमन दलाची भरती प्रक्रिया लवकरच सुरू होणार आहे. अग्निशामक पदासाठी तब्बल 910 रिक्त पदांची भरती केली जाणार असून त्यासाठीची जाहिरात लवकरच प्रसिद्ध केली जाईल. पोलिस भरतीप्रमाणे उमेदवारांसाठी वयाची अट दोन वर्षांपर्यंत शिथिल करण्यात आली आहे.

मराठा आरक्षण, टाळेबंदी आणि कोरोनामुळे मुंबई अग्निशमन दलातील रखडलेली भरती प्रक्रिया आता पूर्ण होण्याची शक्यता आहे. 2017 मध्ये यापूर्वी भरती झाली होती, तीच भरती आता केली जाणार आहे. या प्रक्रियेमध्ये पारंपारिक पद्धतीने बारावी उत्तीर्ण झालेल्या उमेदवारांची शारीरिक तपासणी, वैद्यकीय तपासणी यांचा समावेश आहे. मुंबई अग्निशमन दलाकडे सुमारे 3000 अग्निशमन कर्मचारी, अधिकारी आणि चालक असे मनुष्यबळ आहे. त्यापैकी 2500 अग्निशमन दलाचे जवान आहेत. मात्र, पदोन्नती किंवा निवृत्तीमुळे ही पदे मोठ्या प्रमाणात रिक्त झाली आहेत.
या पदांसाठी ही भरती करण्यात येणार असल्याची माहिती अग्निशमन दलाचे प्रमुख संजय मांजरेकर यांनी दिली.
दहिसर पश्चिम येथील भावदेवी मैदानात ही भरती प्रक्रिया होणार असून त्याचे चित्रीकरणही होणार आहे.
त्यासाठी अग्निशमन दलाने नुकत्याच निविदा मागवल्या आहेत.

टाळेबंदीमुळे पोलीस भरतीमध्ये वयोमर्यादेत दोन वर्षांनी वाढ करण्यात आली असल्याने या भरतीमध्येही शिथिलता देण्यात येणार असून त्याला नुकतीच प्रशासकीय मान्यता देण्यात आल्याचे अधिकाऱ्यांनी सांगितले. त्यामुळे आता खुल्या गटासाठी वयोमर्यादा 25 ऐवजी 27 वर्षे आणि आरक्षणासाठी हीच मर्यादा 30 ऐवजी 32 वर्षे असेल. सातत्याने रिक्त असलेल्या पदांसाठी प्रतीक्षा यादी करता येईल का, याचाही विचार केला जाणार असल्याचे अधिकाऱ्यांनी सांगितले.
